(CBS) Zac Brown has a lot going on these days. His Southern Ground businesses touch everything from music to food to leather goods to camp(!).
This fall the first official Southern Ground Music & Food Festival will take place in Charleston, S.C., from Oct. 21-23, Brown and the Zac Brown Band and a list of musicians that includes My Morning Jacket, Train, Eric Church, Warren Haynes (and many others) will play music. And if this festival is successful, there are plans for 칠곡출장안마
"After three days of good beer and good wine and good food and good music, [fans] can't wait to come to the next one," said Brown in a recent phone interview. "That's our goal." Brown says he wants to provide the best food he can for his fans. (It's been reported previously that Southern Ground will handle the concessions.)
Zac Brown Band will play a cover set the first night, he said. The second night, they'll do a "big Zac Brown Band show" and the third day will be a "grab bag."
Haynes is a recent addition to the list of acts playing the festival. "What an incredible guitar player," said Brown, "and we're trying to make sure that when we do something and put our name on it [fans] can bank on the quality. That's the biggest goal I have as a business owner."
As a business owner, Brown has teamed up with Carhartt, the workwear company, to pay tribute to six members of the Southern Ground crew. "We're doing a program called Everyday Icons," said Brown. "We've chosen six of the people who work with me that are in and out of my different businesses and help us behind the scenes, help us to make things happen."
Fans can vote for their favorite of those six people (Scott Shelton, David Purvis, Eric Roderick, Rusty Hamlin, Kyle Landas and Sonia Leigh) by visiting Carhartt's Facebook page and voting. Starting Oct. 15, anyone can nominate his own "Everyday Icon" and have a chance to see Zac Brown
Band in concert. "It enters you in a chance to win some apparel and see our New Year's show," said Brown.
